Our California-Coastal Express Tour is a specialized day tour that begins in Medford,Oregon and takes you to the Jedediah Smith State Park and the California Coastline and into the Trees of Mystery. This tour is filled with scenic beauty as well as interesting eateries and walks along the Pier in lovely Crescent City,California.

South Coast Overnight Tour

Our South Coast Tour begins with pickup  in Medford. We head north to Hwy 42 W at Winston where we head for Coos Bay for lunch.After lunch we visit Sunset Bay,Cape Arago and the Shore Acres Botanical Gardens.

Highlights of our first day include :

We will continue our tour to the quaint town of Bandon where we will visit Old Town and settle in for our nights stay.

Our second day begins with breakfast and then we are on our way to continue our journey along Hwy 101.There will be scenic stops along the way at Cape Blanco near  Port Orford, Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor ,Gold Beach and Brookings before we head down the California portion to the beautiful Jedediah Smith Redwood National Park. 

Second day highlights -touring the Cape Blanco Lighthouse and paying a visit to the restored 1898 Victorian farmhouse built for pioneers Patrick and Jane Hughes.Their son,James Hughes, served at this light station for 37 years.

After touring the Lighthouse and Historic Hughes House our journey continues south with a scenic stop at Port Orford and on to Gold Beach and Brookings and the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor.This corridor is a 12 mile, forested park with a rugged, steep coastline interrupted by small sand beaches.Seaside prairies, spectacular vistas, secluded cove beaches, rugged cliffs and forested sea stacks come one after the other throughout this park.


Our South Coast Tour packs a lot of scenery into a night and two days touring this stretch of the Oregon Coastline. The spectacular coastline sparkles like the crown jewel of Oregon but not to be left behind are the Mighty Gigantic California Redwoods. Jedediah Smith State Park alongside the Smith River offers a calming respite to ponder the ancient mysteries that visiting this interesting and timeless landmark invokes as we take a break from the days activities to refresh our minds and bodies in the cool and refreshing forest woodland before we begin the journey inland back to Medford.

The Ever Mysterious Redwoods

The Journey from Medford North and West to Coos Bay, Cape Arago and South to Bandon and along the incredible beauty of Hwy 101 and then to Jedediah and Smith River before the return trip back to Medford is a journey filled with priceless memories.

We strive to make this journey comfortable, informative, and an incredibly scenic experience with frequent stops to  admire the beauty along the way.
